Græy is a small, humanlike creature living in a black and white world without a trace of colour. Every building and every resident looks the same, because the construct of society doesn’t leave room for individuality. Græy is living just like the others, believing every word they say. But this monochromatic and uniform view of the world is only true until Græy must rescue their friend, whom they believed was abducted. The little creature is full of colour and happiness, something Græy can only dream of. On their rescue mission, Græy has to leave their hometown to collect multiple fragments of the only picture they have together with the unnamed friend. After overcoming several challenges, facing society’s expectations and stereotypes, Græy arrives in their hometown again. They realise that the creature they were looking for, was not a friend, but their own soul all along. Soul was taken away by societal expectations and Græy’s own fear of not belonging and not being good enough. But after all the challenges, puzzles and self reflection, Græy is reunited with their own soul, and they get their colourful spark back.
